• Schedule, manage, and confirm your automotive maintenance appointments.
• Send you text message (SMS) appointment reminders, service updates, and status notifications regarding your vehicle.
• Prepare written estimates and final invoices as required by the Ontario Consumer Protection Act.
• Track your vehicle’s service history to fulfill statutory or promotional warranties.
• Process payments for services rendered.

3. Text Messaging (SMS) Consent and CASL Compliance

• Consent: By providing your mobile telephone number and checking the box to opt-in on our booking forms (online or in person), you provide your express consent to receive automated text messages from us regarding your appointments and vehicle service status.
• No Marketing Without Consent: We will not use your phone number for promotional or marketing texts unless you explicitly choose to opt into a marketing list.
• Opting Out: You can stop receiving text reminders at any time. Simply reply STOP or ARRET to any text message you receive from us. You will receive a final confirmation text confirming your opt-out, and we will cease sending SMS reminders unless you re-register.
• Rates: Standard message and data rates applied by your wireless carrier may apply to text messages sent or received.

4. How We Share Your Information

• Service Providers: Trusted third-party software providers who manage our shop booking systems, invoice platforms, and SMS/text delivery gateways. These providers are legally contractually bound to use your data only to perform services for us.
• Legal Obligations: When required by Canadian federal or Ontario provincial law, or in response to valid legal requests (e.g., a court order).

1. Scope of Services & Ontario Consumer Protection Act

• Estimates: Before performing any work, we will provide you with a written estimate detailing the parts and labor required. Alternatively, you may choose to waive your right to an estimate by establishing a maximum authorized repair limit.
• Authorized Work: We will never charge you for work that you did not authorize. If additional repairs are discovered during service, we will contact you to obtain explicit authorization before proceeding.
• Pricing Cap: The final price charged for the authorized repair will not exceed the written estimate by more than10% unless you explicitly approve the increased cost beforehand.
• Return of Parts: You have the right to request the return of any parts replaced during your vehicle’s service, provided you request them at the time the work order is created. Replaced parts covered under a manufacturer’s warranty or remanufactured core exchange programs are exempt.

2. Text Messaging (SMS) Terms of Use

• Purpose: Our text system is used exclusively to send you time-sensitive transaction messages, such as appointment confirmations, vehicle drop-off/pick-up notifications, and urgent technician updates.
• Frequency: Message frequency varies depending on your booking patterns and vehicle needs.
• Opt-Out & Assistance: You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP or ARRET. For help, you can text HELP or AIDE.
• Liability for Communication Delays: While we strive to ensure timely alerts, network delays or mobile carrier delivery failures are beyond our control. You remain responsible for arriving at your scheduled appointment time regardless of whether an SMS reminder was successfully received.

4. Vehicle Storage, Liens, and Non-Payment

• Vehicle Pickup: You agree to pick up your vehicle and settle all outstanding invoices within 24 hours of being notified that the work is complete. Vehicles left beyond this window may be subject to a storage fee of $60 per day.
• Repairer’s Lien: In accordance with the Ontario Repair and Storage Liens Act (RSLA), we hold a possessory lien against your vehicle for the value of all authorized repairs and storage costs. If an invoice is unpaid, we reserve the right to retain custody of the vehicle, register a lien, and potentially seize or sell the vehicle to recover outstanding debts.

5. Limitation of Liability

• Loss or damage to personal belongings left inside the vehicle (please remove all valuables before drop-off).
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from any mechanical failure or service delays.
